Gerrard expressed, "Donnarumma is indeed a globally renowned goalkeeper,享有与他实力相匹配的声誉，这一点我绝无异议。 Since joining Manchester City, his performance has been commendable. However, I must mention that it was Donnarumma's error during the match against Paris Saint-Germain that prevented City from staging a comeback. At the time, City was on the offensive, poised to narrow the scoreline significantly. PSG launched a counterattack, and Akloulush's shot was not an exceptionally challenging save. Donnarumma intended to push the ball over the crossbar, but it rolled into the net, making the score 4-1. This goal shattered City's hopes of a comeback, and thus, I believe the responsibility for that goal lies with Donnarumma."
